This Vue cinema enjoys a fantastic location in the Printworks in Manchester city centre. With a whopping 23 screens it offers a massive choice of films to suit all ages and tastes.
Screens accommodate between 65 and 484 cinemagoers. All theatres offer Dolby Digital sound and wheelchair spaces, and many can show 3D films. Screen 1 boasts an IMAX screen measuring 23 metres wide and 29 metres tall.
The cinema is open seven days a week. Customers of comparethemarket.com can participate in the Meerkat Movies offer and purchase two tickets for the price of one on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
On Saturday and Sunday mornings, and during school holidays, Mini Mornings offers special screenings for children. Tickets are very cheap.
Senior Screenings are special weekday showings for the over 60s. Tickets cost just a few pounds and include hot drinks and biscuits.
Like most cinemas, the Odeon offers its own refreshment counter offering drinks, snacks and confectionery.
The Printworks cinema also offers Vue Scene screenings. Customers enjoy a licenced bar, more spacious seating, plus unlimited popcorn, nachos, and soft drinks. Vue Scene tickets cost roughly twice as much as a standard ticket.
Drinks and food are also available at the many bars and restaurants in the Printworks.
The Vue cinema is situated at the eastern end of the Printworks, close to the Dantzic Street entrance.
One major drawback of the cinema is the lack of free car parking nearby. The nearest car parks are the NCP Printworks (777 spaces, postcode M4 2AF) and NCP Manchester Arndale (1383 spaces, postcode M4 1AZ).
The cinema originally opened as a UCI Filmworks cinema but was purchased by Odeon in 2005. It became a Vue cinema in the summer of 2017.
