The Vue cinema at the Capitol Centre offers 7 screens and can cater to around 1,800 guests. The largest auditorium can seat 391 cinemagoers while the smallest can seat 169.
All auditoriums offer Dolby Digital Surround Sound and wheelchair access. Screen 6 has 3D capabilities.
The cinema is located at the Capitol Centre, a retail and leisure park at Walton-le-Dale, on London Road (postcode The Capitol Centre is situated on London Way (postcode PR5 4AW), just south of Preston city centre.
Free parking is available to all visitors to the cinema. There are numerous restaurants and places to eat at the Capitol Centre (Prezzo, McDonald’s, Frankie & Benny’s, Starbucks, and Subway).
In September 2015, Vue announced plans to open a new cinema at the Fishergate Shopping Centre in Preston city centre. When this opens it is highly likely their cinema at the Capitol Centre will close.
