The Cineworld cinema closed here in July 2016. Currys closed their store here in 2015.
Work started on a £100 million redevelopment of the Edge Lane Retail Park in summer 2016. When complete it will boast over 40 stores and stretch for three quarters of mile along Edge Lane. It will be rebranded as Liverpool Shopping Park.
