Northwich Retail Park is a small shopping park just east of Northwich town centre.
Shops here at the time of writing (October 2016) are Argos, B&Q, Brantano, Currys PC World, Carpetright, Next, Peacocks and Sports Direct.
Opening hours vary by store but all are open 7 days a week. Opening times for B&Q are Monday to Friday 7 am to 9 pm, Saturday 7 am to 8 pm, and Sunday 10 am to 4 pm.
Northwich Retail Park is situated on Manchester Road, around one mile from the town centre.
Visitors with satellite navigation systems can use the postcode CW9 5LY to find it. Ample free customer car parking is available.
Northwich Train Station is approximately 600 yards from the park.
Recent parking restrictions are very unfair upon people who are genuine shoppers. On a recent visit we were looking to spend over £2,000 over 2 purchases, so very considered purchases and not to be rushed. Following visits to 2 retail outlets and a cup of coffee to focus our minds, we left the car park about 2 hours and 20 minutes. Only to find out, after a few days, a letter arrived from ‘euro car parks’ demanding a parking charge of £50.
We have used the retail park on a regular basis since it opened several years ago and did not know of this new restriction.
So I would say ‘don’t go for a cup of coffee’ and think about your purchases!
I think this is very poor for a retail outlet and no wounder why people are pushed towards internet shopping. So sorry, but ZERO for customer care!!!
