Gay Village – Manchester

The Gay Village is an area in central Manchester popular with the gay and lesbian community and home to a large number of gay bars, hotels, shops, restaurants, and clubs.


There are several accommodation options in the Gay Village itself. The Velvet Hotel is a 19-room boutique hotel situated above the Canal Street’s Velvet Bar and Restaurant. Other choices include the Atrium serviced apartments, the Britannia, and Macdonald Townhouse.
