Exchange Quay is the most southerly of the Metrolink stops at Salford Quays. It is served by the Ashton-under-Lyne - MediaCityUK Service (Monday to Saturday daytime) and the Ashton-under-Lyne - Eccles Service.
It offers direct tram services to Manchester city centre and Eccles.
The stop is situated between Trafford Road and Ordsall Lane. It is next to the Exchange Quay office development and is close to Ordsall Hall.

Exchange Quay is one of the stops most commonly used by football fans travelling to Manchester United’s Old Trafford ground (Trafford Bar and Old Trafford are also close).
