Burnley Mechanics is the main theatre and music venue in Burnley. It is owned and managed by the Burnley Leisure Trust.
It offers a huge variety of events including rock and classical concerts, drama and theatrical performances, comedy, pantomimes, children’s shows and more.
Burnley Mechanics boasts two performance venues. The main Auditorium has a seated capacity of 495 (standing 700). The Front Room is a more intimate venue that hosts emerging artists and niche performances.
The box office is open Monday to Friday, noon to 4 pm and Saturday 10 am to 12.45 pm. On performance evenings it also opens one hour before the show starts.

Discounts are available for some shows the disabled, senior citizens, students, and the unemployed. Proof of eligibility may be required.
A lounge and bar at the venue offers drinks and pre-show meals. There’s also a large Wetherspoon’s pub, The Brun Lea, just down the road.
Burnley Mechanics is located on Manchester Road in Burnley town centre, next to Burnley Town Hall. Visitors arriving by car and using satellite navigation systems can used the postcode BB11 1BH. There are local authority car parks on the side streets facing the venue (Elizabeth Street, Parker Lane).
