Manchester’s Comedy Store stages comedy shows featuring the top names in the business and upcoming acts. It opened at Deansgate Locks in 2000 and is the sister venue of the famous Comedy Store in London.

Stand Up Thursday feature three comedians while the Best In Stand Up on Friday and Saturday evenings offer shorter sets by five comedians. King Gong, held on the first Sunday of the month, offers members of the public the chance to try their hand act comedy.
Shows usually start at 8 pm. On Saturday evenings there are two shows, one at 7 pm and one at 9.30 pm.
Tickets can also be booked by telephoning the Comedy Store box office on 0161 839 9595, or by calling at the box office in person. Tickets purchased at the box office are not subject to a booking fee. Cheaper tickets are available for students, teachers, NHS workers, and members of the services.
