Splash World Southport

Splash World is an indoor water park in Southport. It opened in 2008.

Rides include a lazy river tyre ride, rapid river ride, and two flume rides. There’s also a play area with tipping buckets and fountains.

Facilities include a poolside cafe, vending machines, lockers, and family changing rooms.

Splash World is part of the Dunes Leisure Centre. Here there’s a 25 metre swimming pool, learner pool, gym, steam room and sauna, and sports hall.

Admission Prices

Those purchasing a standard Splash World Pass enjoy a 1.5 hour session. The more expensive Gold Pass allows visitors to stay all day.

Family, junior, toddler, and spectator options are available.

Prices are slightly cheaper than Sandcastle Waterpark in Blackpool.

Opening times vary throughout the year. As a rough guide Splash World is open every weekend throughout the year and on weekdays during school holidays.

Location & Directions

Splash World is located on The Esplanade in Southport, directly opposite Southport Pleasureland. King’s Gardens and Marine Lake are nearby.

Visitors with satellite navigation systems should use the postcode PR8 1RX to find it.

There are two pay-and-display car parks at the centre.

Splash World is approximately 0.6 miles from Southport Train Station.

  6. We went at Easter and thought it over priced for what we actually got due to the over crowding and limited time, everything was a ‘queue’ including the changing cubicles also could have been cleaner.

  10. I have been to Splash World only once and I’m going again in the Christmas holidays. Last time i went it was amazing. I kept on falling out of the rubber ring and it was funny. Splash World is fantastic. If you haven’t been before, go it is fun and even more fun with your friends.

  12. When I went to Splash World it was a amazing day with my family and one I will never forget! When I went on the rapids for my first time I fell off and it took 5 mins to get out. It was a hilarious and it was loads of fun.

  22. It wasn’t good because if it is busy you can only play for an hour and a half. You could expand the size of Splash World then people could stay in longer even when it’s busy.
