The Platform is the main venue in Morecambe for live entertainment and events. It opened in 1997 in a tasteful conversion of the former Morecambe Promenade Train Station.
Tickets can be purchased online from the official website for The Platform (see information box below) and third party booking websites such as See Tickets (certain events only).

To buy tickets in person, visit the Morecambe Visitor Information Centre or the Lancaster Visitor Information Centre. The Morecambe Visitor Information Centre is located in the same building as The Platform. For telephone bookings call 01524 582803.
The Platform is situated on Marine Road Central (postcode LA4 4DB), opposite the Midland Hotel. Both Morecambe Train Station and Morecambe Bus Station are within walking distance.
The Old Station Car Park (aka Festival Market Car Park) and the Goods Yard Car Park are right next to the venue. Both are operated by Lancaster City Council. Parking is free after 6 pm.
The old railway station building also houses The Station. The family-friendly pub is operated by Fayre & Square and is known for its great meal deals. It also boasts a Wacky Warehouse play centre.

Other food and drink options nearby include the Frankie & Benny’s restaurant at Central Drive Retail Park and the KFC right next to the theatre.
