This small train station serves Blackpool Pleasure Beach, the most popular attraction in the town. It opened in 1987 and was partly funded by the amusement park.
The station has just one platform, few facilities, and is unstaffed.
Services from Blackpool Pleasure Beach include trains to Blackpool South, and Preston.
Blackpool Pleasure Beach Train Station is situated on Carlyle Avenue, just north of Blackpool Pleasure Beach and close to the Big Blue Hotel. There’s a drop-off zone and a car park (fees apply) right outside the station.
Blackpool Promenade is just a couple of hundred yards from the station. The Burlington Road West Tram Stop is here. Trams run from Starr Gate at the southern end of the town, all the way along the Promenade, and onto Cleveleys and Fleetwood.
