Station Information and Facilities
The station has two platforms. Platform 1 is for trains towards Blackburn and Colne, and Platform 2 is for services to Preston.
In olden times, Cherry Tree Station boasted a ticket office, signal box and numerous other buildings. Today, the station is unstaffed and has few facilities: no ticket office and just a couple of shelters. The former goods shed is now home to a fireplace showroom.

Passengers can purchase train tickets from the machine. Tickets can also be purchased online in advance. Train running information is provided by timetable posters and electronic displays.
The station is monitored by CCTV. There is no toilet, shop, or cafe. The adjacent Station pub and nearby Sainsbury’s supermarket are the closest amenities.
