Kendal Train Station

This small train station serves the Cumbrian town of Kendal. It lies on the Windermere Branch Line, also known as the Lakes Line

A local train service runs along the Windermere Branch Lane between Windermere and Oxenholme Lake District. It stops at Staveley, Burneside, and Kendal. Passengers can change at Oxenholme for West Coast Main Line Services to destinations such as London Euston, Edinburgh, and Glasgow Central.

The station itself has just one platform, is unmanned, and has few facilities other than a shelter and a very small car park.

Kendal Train Station is located on Station Road, just east of the town centre and opposite the Kendal Museum. It’s a 5-minute walk to Stricklandgate, the commercial centre of Kendal.
