Old Roan is one of two train stations in Aintree, Merseyside. It lies on the Ormskirk branch of Merseyrail’s Northern Line. Trains from here go to Ormskirk and Liverpool Central.

Old Roan Train Station is located on Copy Lane (postcode L30 8RD) at the northern end of Aintree. Aintree Shopping Park, Aintree Racecourse Retail Park, and Switch Island (for the Odeon Liverpool Switch Island) are all nearby.
Aintree Racecourse is situated at the southern end of Aintree and is closer to Aintree Train Station.
