Warrington Central is the busiest of the two train stations in Warrington. It is situated on Winwick Street in the town centre, close to the Golden Square Shopping Centre, Cockhedge Shopping Park, and the Halliwell Jones Stadium (the home of Warrington Wolves). The other station in the town centre is Warrington Bank Quay.
There’s a taxi rank and car park outside the station entrance. Warrington Bus Interchange is just a short walk from the station. Buses leave here for most areas of the town plus destinations such as Runcorn, Liverpool, St Helens, Widnes, and Wigan.
