Burton-in-Kendal Services is a service station on the M6, close to the border of Cumbria and Lancashire. It lies just west of the village of Burton-in-Kendal and around four miles north of Carnforth.
It serves northbound traffic only. Southbound vehicles can use Killington Lake Services, ten miles to the north.
The services are small but enjoy a good reputation. Outlets here at the time of writing (March 2017) include Burger King, M&S Simply Food, Costa, WHSmith, and Krispy Kreme. The Travelodge Burton M6 Northbound hotel is also here.
Burton-in-Kendal Services is a good stopping point for those travelling to the Lake District. Attractions nearby include Lakeland Wildlife Oasis and Leighton Moss.
