Reviews and Additional Information

  1. On Friday 22 February we were driving from Hawkshead to Bowness via the ferry. We were unfortunate to miss the 6.00 ferry by 2 minutes, the ferry had just pulled out. The captain and crew must have seen us, as to our amazement he (the captain) put the ferry in to reverse and came back to let us on! Our sincere thanks to the captain and crew for coming back for us as we were 2 minutes late and they could have carried on without us. We are local people and we appreciate the service this ferry provides. Hats off to you all. Many thanks.
