Wigan North Western is a moderately-sized railway station in Wigan, a town in Greater Manchester, England. The station is one of two main railway stations serving Wigan town centre, the other being Wigan Wallgate. Both stations are located on Wallgate.

Wigan North Western is on the West Coast Main Line. The journey time to London Euston, the southern terminus of the West Coast Main Line, is just under 2 hours. Other West Coast Main Line destinations include Edinburgh, Carlisle, Lancaster, Preston, Warrington, Crewe, Birmingham, and Milton Keynes.

There’s a multi-storey car park situated just outside the station. It has spaces for over 400 vehicles. Parking fees apply. Wigan Wallgate Station, just across the road, also has a car park.

For those travelling to the station by bike, there are bicycle lockers at the rear of the station building and cycle racks on the platforms. 

The station is within easy walking distance of Wigan Bus Station. Its location is convenient for passengers needing to continue their journey by bus or those arriving by bus to catch a train.
